About The Position

This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of patients in a supportive, patient-centered environment. As a Family Medicine physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from preventive health screenings to diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. You will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, with a focus on continuity of care, evidence-based medicine, and personalized treatment plans. This position is well-suited for an Associate-level physician eager to grow their practice while contributing to the overall excellence of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Michigan (or ability to obtain one before start).
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical practice.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based medicine.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be board-certified

Nice To Haves

  • Associate-level experience in a primary care or family medicine setting is preferred.
  • Option to perform minor in-office procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging, and other procedures.
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for all patient encounters.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of ongoing health issues.
  • Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest medical research and best practices.
  • Support a welcoming, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients and team members alike.
