About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a full-time employed BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join the team at INTEGRIS Health Ponca City Hospital in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The hospital serves a combined service area of 50,000 and is part of INTEGRIS Health, the largest Oklahoma-owned not-for-profit health system. Ponca City is a community with a low cost of living, easy commute times, and a rich blend of history and culture, located approximately 90 miles from Tulsa and OKC. The Physician will provide direct patient care and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. There is moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. There is also potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Universal safety precautions must be followed. The environment includes constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.

Requirements

Oklahoma MD or DO license
BC/BE

Responsibilities

Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
