About The Position
Join a vibrant healthcare team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a full-time Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician! This position allows you to work in a professional and patient-centered environment at a renowned primary and pediatric care center, providing comprehensive family medical services from infants to retirees.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Experience in a full-spectrum family medicine practice
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
- Proficiency in using EMR documentation systems
- Ability to manage a caseload of 8-14 patients per day
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
- New Mexico medical license preferred, will consider applicants needing to obtain a NM license
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Promote wellness and preventive care
- Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise a team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
- Work within a value-based care model, outside of traditional fee-for-service
