About The Position
A family-oriented FQHC practice in the Lawrence, MA area is seeking a Spanish-speaking Family Medicine Physician. This role offers a 4-day work week and the opportunity to make a difference within a growing team of providers focused on enhancing the lives of their patients and valuing learning and growth. The organization, established in 1980, is a multi-site, mission-driven, non-profit organization employing over 700 staff. It is nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine and has clinical sites throughout the Merrimack Valley, serving a culturally diverse population with many Spanish-speaking clients.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in an appropriate specialty.
- Current medical license in Massachusetts.
- Spanish speaker needed.
- Mission-minded.
- Experience working with a diverse patient population.
Nice To Haves
- Sports Medicine training (a $10,000 stipend is offered).
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care, including programs for HIV, Sports Medicine, Geriatrics, Transgender Care, Homeless Care, Substance Abuse Treatment, and High Risk Maternity.
- See 16-20 patients a day in an eight-hour shift.
- Participate in Adult Medicine rounding at $1,100 per week.
