Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
  • Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients across the lifespan.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and prescribe evidence-based medications and treatments.
  • Provide preventive care, health screenings, wellness counseling, and patient education.
  • Establish long-term relationships with patients and families through continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement, population health, and other organizational initiatives.
  • Stay current with evidence-based clinical practices and applicable healthcare standards.
