About The Position
Seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Ironwood, MI. This is an outpatient clinical role covering supplemental needs from November 2, 2026, ongoing. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility. The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages, including well woman exams, preventive care, management of acute and chronic conditions, newborn care, and adolescent health services. Collaboration with support staff is essential for efficient patient flow. The average daily patient volume is 12-25. The facility uses the Epic EMR system and has 1 MA and 1 office staff member providing support.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- MI license or willing to obtain
- BLS certification
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages.
- Perform well woman exams and preventive care services.
