About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a position in Tazewell, TN. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping you with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. The full-time role is 4-5 days per week, while the part-time role requires a minimum of 3 days per week. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily, within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is performed at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
  • Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
