About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine Physician in Little Falls, NY. Little Falls is a charming historic community in Herkimer County, New York, known for its scenic location along the Mohawk River. Nestled between the Adirondack foothills, it offers a blend of small-town charm and outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing. With a vibrant arts scene, local shops, and convenient access to the New York State Thruway, Little Falls provides both a peaceful setting and easy connectivity to the surrounding region. Little Falls Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement. Join an established group consisting of a Physician and Nurse Practitioner in a traditional outpatient practice with no OB. Generative AI Scribes are offered to all Primary Care Physicians to help decrease time and stress associated with notes. An Innovative Inbasket Ninja Program is in place for Primary Care that covers inbaskets of any departed providers or providers on leave or vacation. A first call system is in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients. Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS
- BC/BE in Family Medicine
- Completion of an accredited USA Family Medicine Residency
- New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
