About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician in Houghton, New York. This is an outpatient Family Medicine role within a Federally Qualified Health Center serving rural western New York and Pennsylvania communities. The physician will have the opportunity to provide full-spectrum primary care for patients of all ages. The position offers flexible four- or five-day clinic schedules to support provider work-life balance in a mission-driven healthcare environment focused on preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute visits. The rural western New York location offers outdoor recreation, small-town living, and a strong community atmosphere.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from accredited medical school REQUIRED
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine REQUIRED
- Clear and active New York medical license or ability to obtain REQUIRED
- Commitment to high-quality patient-centered care REQUIRED
- Comfortable providing full-spectrum outpatient primary care REQUIRED
- Strong communication and collaboration skills REQUIRED

Responsibilities
- Provide preventative, chronic, and acute primary care services for patients of all ages
- Manage approximately 16–20 patients daily
- Coordinate continuity of care and specialty referrals
- Perform in-office procedures based on experience and preference
- Collaborate with dedicated 1:1 staffing support teams
- Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR for patient documentation
