About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily within a 40-60 mile radius. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers opportunities for specialization in wound management through training and a fellowship, with a focus on patient care and reduced paperwork. Opportunities for both full-time (4-5 days/week) and part-time (minimum 3 days/week) are available.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday
