About The Position

Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join Our Lady of the Rosary, a growing practice located in South Bend, Indiana. This position is with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of Loyola Medicine. The selected physician will see patients of all ages, from pediatric through geriatric. Basic laboratory services and procedures such as skin tag and mole removal, suturing, and joint injections may be performed. Opportunities for teaching residents exist within the St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine program. The physician must adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services and may be required to maintain active membership on the medical staff of SJHS-SB and/or SJHS-Ply. Board Certification is required within 5 years of Residency Program Completion.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician.
  • Board Certification required within 5 years of Residency Program Completion.
  • Serve full time for the allotted time (for student loan repayment program).
  • Participate in an ECHO learning project.

Responsibilities

  • See patients of all ages; Pediatric through Geriatric.
  • Perform basic procedures such as skin tag and mole removal, suturing, and joint injections.
  • Provide clinical teaching and supervision to St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents.
  • Adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
  • Maintain active membership status on the medical staff of SJHS-SB and/or SJHS-Ply (if required).
