About The Position

Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Family Medicine Team. Join a family medicine clinic with more than 60 years of history serving the Fairbanks community. The clinic is part of a large multidisciplinary health system and provides care to patients across the full lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics. Our providers manage a broad range of acute concerns as well as ongoing chronic conditions. Practicing at our clinic within a rural health system allows providers to maintain a broad scope of practice and take a more active role in managing complex patient care. The clinic environment is collaborative, with family medicine physicians and advanced practice providers working together to support the needs of the community.

Requirements

Must be approved to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician's Assistants.
NCCPA certification required.
Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.
Must have sufficient experience, confidence, and judgment to function with little outside direction.
Ability to maintain CME currency as required to maintain NCCPA certification.
Requires personal DEA license.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree preferred.
Experience in clinical setting including supervision is preferred.
ACLS, PALS, ATLS.
