About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for their primary care practice in Raeford, NC. This is a hospital-employed, 100% outpatient position within an established and growing practice that includes 2 Physicians and 4 APPs. The role offers protected admin time, low volume call, and access to system-wide urgent care clinics for after-hours and weekend patient services. The practice utilizes Epic EMR with Abridge for documentation. Requirements

PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and possess NCCPA certification.
NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
Advanced practice experience required.
Prefer 3+ years in primary care setting treating patients of all ages.
Strong diagnostic abilities required.
Effective communication skills required.
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of clinical practices required.
Clean background required.
NC license required.
NC DEA required.
AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide primary care to patients of all ages.
Manage patient care in a 100% outpatient setting.
Collaborate with physicians and other APPs within the practice.
Utilize Epic EMR with Abridge for documentation.
Participate in a low-volume call schedule.
Leverage system-wide urgent care clinics for after-hours and weekend patient services.
