About The Position

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician, Board Certified or Board Eligible, to join an established primary care practice in Alton, Illinois. This practice offers an excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling options, including part-time and PRN. The role is outpatient only, supported by a hospitalist service and minimal call, with the OSF After-Hours Nurse Triage Center handling first call. The practice is supported by a highly trained and motivated staff led by RNs and includes embedded services such as care management, social work, behavioral health, and a nurse clinic. There are opportunities for career growth and development. The location offers convenient proximity to two local airports in Springfield and St. Louis. H1B and J1 visa applications are accepted.

Requirements

Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsibilities
