About The Position

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group in Livingston, Texas, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician with a passion for Obstetrics to join their dedicated team. The practice is expanding due to community growth and is looking for an FM-OB physician to make a significant impact. The role involves providing full-spectrum family medicine for all ages, leading obstetrical care including prenatal care, labor & delivery (including C-sections), and postpartum care in a supportive clinic and hospital setting. The practice is growing with 15-20 deliveries per month and existing FM-OB support. The physician will work a 4-day clinic week with dedicated admin/C-section time and a half-day Friday for OB patients. A manageable call schedule of 7-8 days per month is expected, handling both vaginal and C-section deliveries independently. The physician will see approximately 22-24 patients per day in a patient-focused setting.

Requirements

• MD/DO Degree
• Completed ACGME residency and completion of OB track
• Active, or the ability to obtain, unrestricted Texas license
• American Board Certification and BLS (active).

Responsibilities

• Provide Full-Spectrum Family Medicine: Deliver comprehensive primary care for all ages.
• Lead Obstetrical Care: Manage prenatal care, labor & delivery (including C-sections), and postpartum in a supportive clinic and hospital setting.
• Manage call schedule, handling both vaginal and C-section deliveries independently.
• See 22-24 patients per day.
