Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About The Position
The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Family Medicine NP or PA to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa. This role performs primary care to the community, providing a mix of well visits, acute care, and chronic disease management throughout the age spectrum. A community health center (FQHC) is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations. With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Graduation from an accredited/approved NP program.
- Nurse Practitioner: Licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing as a NP.
- Physician Assistant: Graduation from an accredited AMA-approved PA program and/or certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Physician Assistant: Licensed by the Iowa Board of Professional Licensure; licensed to practice in Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to the community.
- Manage a mix of well visits, acute care, and chronic disease management.
- Provide care throughout the age spectrum.
