About The Position
This is a Medical Director of Family Medicine opportunity in a beautiful coastal community just 1 hour from downtown Tampa. It offers a strong balance of leadership and clinical practice, along with excellent compensation and flexibility. This role provides the opportunity to lead and grow a Family Medicine program while maintaining a manageable clinical schedule. You will work directly with the CMO to drive strategy, improve clinical outcomes, and build programs, including chronic disease initiatives and provider development through education and mentorship.
Requirements
- Board-certified Family Medicine physician
- At least 5 years of clinical experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role (not limited to FQHC experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a Family Medicine program
- Drive strategy
- Improve clinical outcomes
- Build programs, including chronic disease initiatives
- Provider development through education and mentorship
- Oversee 16+ providers and 2 senior APP leaders
