About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is expanding its primary care division and seeking physicians and advanced practice clinicians. This practice in Hazleton, PA, is staffed by 2 Physicians and 2 APCs. The practice operates Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with call rotated among clinicians in the region. Appointment lengths vary: 40 minutes for new patients, child wellness/preventative, wellness/preventative for ages 46+, TOC, and medical clearances; and 20 minutes for wellness/preventative for ages 45 and under, return patients, and acute visits. Full-time is defined as 36 patient-facing hours. Part-time options are also available. LVHN offers a variety of practice settings, a flexible Monday-Friday schedule, free scribe services, and a supportive on-site and remote care team. LVPG primary care APCs manage their own patient panels and assist with acute and follow-up patients as needed. Call is shared regionally and initially goes to nurse triage. There are opportunities to teach nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. Requirements

• A Valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required.
• Graduate from an accredited educational program for Nurse Practitioners.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience as a clinician in Family Medicine/Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for their own patient panel.
• See additional acute and follow-up patients from the practice, as needed.
• Participate in call rotation with other clinicians in the region.
• Teach nurse practitioner and physician assistant students, if interested.
