About The Position
CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access for primary to specialty care, walk-in, and virtual services. The LaVista Family Clinic is looking for a Clinic Medical Assistant to join their Family Medicine clinic. This role is open to EMTs or LPNs as well. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with patients of all ages, and maintains a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

- EMT or LPN
Responsibilities
- Assisting providers with exams and procedures.
- Administering injections, immunizations, and other medications.
- Collecting and processing specimens.
- Triaging messages in the electronic inbox, processing prescription refills, and routing patient questions.
- Answering patient calls, providing education, and offering support.
