About The Position

Napthens is seeking a Family Lawyer or Solicitor with approximately 4-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their growing family team in Merseyside. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-value and complex family law cases, including financial remedies, divorce matters involving businesses, trusts, and pensions, complex cohabitation disputes, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, international family law issues, and private children matters. The successful candidate will work closely with Matthew Taylor, a leading specialist in financial remedies, complex divorce, and cohabitation disputes, while also having the autonomy to manage their own caseload and build their professional profile. The team is known for its technical excellence and compassion, serving clients across Lancashire, Merseyside, and Greater Manchester.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer (approximately 4–6 years' PQE)
• Strong experience in privately funded family work
• Comfortable managing your own caseload
• Someone who enjoys building trusted client relationships
• Able to spend 2–3 days per week in Liverpool and Southport office
