Sanvenero & Cittadino Attorneys at Law is a distinguished legal firm in New Jersey, with a robust presence in Red Bank, Shrewsbury, and Monmouth County. The firm is renowned for delivering exceptional client-centered legal services, deeply integrated into the community, and focused on building long-standing relationships and providing comprehensive legal support. Their practice covers a broad spectrum of legal areas, with a particular focus on family law, including divorce, custody, support, and post-judgment modifications. They approach every case with the goal of achieving the most favorable outcome while minimizing stress for clients, within a collaborative, team-based environment managing approximately 30 active family law matters. The firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their collaborative team in Shrewsbury. This role is a critical hire to support ongoing growth and provide coverage for a senior paralegal during an upcoming leave. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring clients receive clear, strategic guidance and advocacy, central to the firm's mission of providing trusted legal support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years as a family law paralegal, with proven drafting experience.
  • Capable of independently drafting complex legal documents including motions and pleadings.
  • Proficient with PracticePanther, Easy Soft, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to manage schedules, deadlines, and detailed case information efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Operate as a highly independent contributor while also taking direction effectively from attorneys and senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Independently draft substantive family law motions, pleadings, and correspondence (including PL motions, enforcement motions, and client/opposing counsel communications) for attorney review.
  • Manage complex attorney calendars, including court scheduling across jurisdictions, estimating hearing durations, and proactively preventing conflicts.
  • Engage with clients to gather critical information, manage expectations, and provide timely updates throughout the lifecycle of family law matters.
  • Assist in organizing case files, ensuring all necessary documents are in place for hearings and trials.
  • Operate within a team-based case model, supporting multiple attorneys and contributing to a shared caseload rather than working in a silo.
  • Conduct research as needed to support case strategy and legal arguments.
  • Prepare and review Case Information Statements (CIS) and assist with child support guideline calculations.
  • Triage and organize incoming emails and communications, ensuring priorities are addressed and nothing falls through the cracks.
