About The Position

Gibson Family Law, PLLC is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney with 3-5 years of courtroom or litigation experience. While family law experience is preferred, it is not strictly required. The role will involve a range of responsibilities including negotiating settlements, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and making court appearances. The attorney will collaborate closely with the managing attorney and clients, providing guidance on divorce, custody, and support matters, and representing clients in various family law cases. This is a full-time, in-person position located in Doylestown, PA.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar and in good standing
3-5 years of litigation experience
Strong negotiation skills with a record of successful settlements
Proficient in legal research and writing, familiar with Westlaw
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
Ethical commitment to client service and legal practice

Nice To Haves

Family law experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support issues
Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw
Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
