Options Community Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering social services across the Southern Fraser region (Surrey, Delta, White Rock and Langley) from early childhood to seniors. Our comprehensive range of programs and services relies on collaborative relationships with individuals, businesses, community groups and government bodies to create focused, effective and responsive resources for the community. Passionate about providing trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally responsive outreach and intervention services to youth and their families? We’re looking for an experienced Family Intervention Worker to work collaboratively with various groups to strengthen family relationships, promote stability, and support youth. If you are a strong advocate for youth and families, have lots of experience with reluctant youth while being organized, we want to hear from you! Reporting to the Program Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with caregivers, schools, service providers, and community partners to strengthen family relationships, improve communication, promote stability, and support youth to remain safely in or reunify with the family home whenever possible. This position also assists in connecting families to appropriate community supports as applicable. The non-standard work schedule is generally Monday to Friday but weekend and evening work is required to meet the needs of youth and families.
