About The Position

The Family Engagement Specialist provides on-site childcare to children ages 0-17 years while their family members are receiving services from the agency and/or managing the front desk and working with families to complete intake paperwork. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for clients and their families.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
A minimum of 1-year of experience in providing childcare required
A minimum of 1-year of experience in providing customer service required
Must be willing to work at both Lewisville / Denton offices including off-site event locations

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred

Responsibilities

Engage children of all ages waiting in the Activity Center in constructive group and/or individual activities
Greet all clients, donors, volunteers, vendors, and team members and connect them with appropriate staff
Provide exceptional customer service and help resolve client/team/staff concerns
Ensure donations are received, documented, and distributed to the appropriate staff/place
Provide information on available services and ensure availability of resource materials in waiting/activity areas
Adhere to all CACNT security and procedural policies
Communicate any client concerns or needs with other staff to ensure high quality service
Ensure office and PPE supplies are available
Ensure that waiting spaces and activity center areas are clean, safe, and organized and adequately equipped with necessary supplies
Answer and transfer incoming calls, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and faxes
Schedule transportation services for clients
Enter services in database as appropriate
Participate in scheduled team meetings
Maintain confidentiality
