About The Position

The Woodstock Academy is seeking a Family Consumer Science Teacher for a one-year position during the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will promote 21st-century educational excellence by supporting the mission and goals of the academy. This role involves facilitating individual, departmental, and school excellence through support of high-quality personnel, reinforcement of best instructional practices, encouragement of a collaborative culture, and a focus on student learning.

Requirements

• Possession of or eligibility for 045 or 098 certification required
• Demonstrated excellence in secondary school instruction
• Knowledge of the best practices in Family Consumer Science
• Ability to use instructional technology
• Familiarity with a block schedule
• Positive attitude, integrity, collaboration skills, a cooperative attitude, and a sense of humor

Nice To Haves

• Culinary background experience preferred
