About The Position

At Community Progress Council, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed and every family deserves the support to reach their goals. We're looking for a caring and motivated Family Coach to join our Early Childhood Education team and make a meaningful difference in our community. As a Family Coach, you will build strong relationships with families, providing guidance, encouragement, and support throughout their journey. You'll help families enroll in programs, connect with valuable community resources, and develop goals that promote school readiness, family well-being, and long-term self-sufficiency. Working closely with community partners, you'll empower families to overcome challenges, celebrate successes, and create pathways to lasting growth. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred. Human Services certification or an equivalent credential will also be considered.
At least one year of experience supporting families or working in a human services setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage individuals, families, and groups.
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and program requirements with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications in a Windows environment preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
Ability to travel regularly throughout York County and maintain dependable attendance.
Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and meet CPC's driving requirements, including a satisfactory motor vehicle record check, as agency vehicle operation may be required.
Ability to begin the workday at various CPC locations based on program and family needs.

Responsibilities

Represent and champion CPC’s mission, vision, and values in every interaction.
Leverage expertise in CPC programs, services, and eligibility requirements to connect families with the support they need.
Foster relationships with local organizations to strengthen referral networks and expand family resources.
Support families through the Early Childhood Education enrollment process with clarity, compassion, and efficiency.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, barriers, and opportunities for growth.
Partner with families to set meaningful goals and provide personalized coaching that promotes self-sufficiency and success.
Support children's attendance, health, and developmental needs to ensure they are prepared to thrive.
Help families create action plans, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements along the way.
Ensure timely documentation, data entry, and confidentiality while coordinating services across programs.
Plan and facilitate family engagement activities, workshops, and events that foster connection and growth.
Work closely with education, health, and inclusion staff to provide integrated, family-centered support.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain records that meet program and regulatory requirements.
Participate in outreach efforts, committees, and partnerships that advance CPC’s mission.
Pursue ongoing professional development to strengthen your skills and maximize your impact.
