About The Position

The Family Center Instructional Aide supports classroom teachers and helps create a positive learning environment for students. The role involves working directly with students to provide academic and classroom support while assisting teachers with daily instructional activities. It is suited to someone passionate about education and working with children in a school setting.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Pay is $17.91 per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and school staff.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Passion for supporting student learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities.
• Reinforce lessons and support individual students or small groups.
• Help maintain student engagement and participation throughout the school day.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials.
• Support students with academic and/or physical needs to ensure access to the educational environment.
• Assist during scheduled rest periods as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration and teaching staff.
