Family Caregiver- Non-Medical
About The Position
Get paid to be a Family Caregiver!!! In-home support is available if your loved one is in need of home care services. An eligible parent, guardian, family member, or family friend can work as a paid Caregiver. If you do not know someone, we can find that someone to care for your loved one! The client and Caregiver must both be 18 years of age or older. We will cover the cost of any clearances and Tuberculosis testing that is required by the state. We currently cover the following counties: Lehigh, Adams, Northampton counties. We accept the following waivers: Community Health Choices, ACT 150, and the VA Aid & Attendance. If the client is not on an accepted waiver, we can assist you in starting the process!
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with assigned Client Care Manager and the ability to follow verbal and written communication.
- Must complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program successfully.
- Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations.
