Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Family Birthing Center Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional delivering compassionate, high-quality care during one of life's most significant milestones. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn, fostering a culture of humankindness from the very first breath. Every day, you will leverage your expertise in maternal-child health to provide individualized, comprehensive care. From managing active labor to providing postpartum education, you will make critical assessments and perform skilled procedures within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team focused on optimal outcomes for growing families. Requirements

  • One Year of acute care nursing experience
  • Associate Of Nursing Associates degree of nursing or foreign equivalent
  • Registered Nurse License: AZ
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Nice To Haves

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program - within six (6) months
  • Bachelors Of Nursing Bachelors degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing systematic data collection focusing on the physiologic, psychosocial, and cultural status of the maternal-newborn couplet, including pain management and patient advocacy
  • Formulate prioritized plans of care based on nursing diagnoses and desired patient outcomes specific to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
  • Deliver thorough and consistent care, including fetal monitoring, assistance with high-risk deliveries, and neonatal stabilization
