Requirements

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS within 6 months
  • NRP within 6 months
  • ACLS within 6 months
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • 3 years experience and clinical knowledge in Family Birth
  • 2 years in Charge Nurse/Leadership or equivalent position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and strategic direction for specific clinical service lines, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Manage and mentor clinical staff, monitor performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and clinical knowledge, driving continuous improvement and excellent patient care to meet organizational goals.
  • Manages and evaluates the clinical operations, programs and resources of the assigned clinical area/facility to assure the safe and appropriate delivery of diagnostic and/or therapeutic patient care.
  • Plans, manages and evaluates the work of clinical and administrative staff in accordance with the content, spirit and intent of applicable internal/external regulations and standard for human resource management.
  • Ensures all aspects of clinical operations are conducted and documented in compliance with relevant internal policies, standards/procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in annual budget planning and administration relative to assigned responsibilities.
  • Works with management team to ensure the application of consistent operational and clinical practices.
  • Participates, as a key member of the management team for the assigned clinical function, in the development of strategies, initiatives and programs.
