About The Position

We are looking for a part-time family assistant to work after school, approximately 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM, with some weekend help required (7-8 weekends per year from 8 AM to 6 PM). This position is intended to complement the current daytime nanny and will involve assisting with childcare duties, family meal preparation, family laundry, running errands (groceries, house supplies, dry cleaning), and house organization. The role requires a COVID/FLU vaccinated candidate and a minimum one-year commitment. The family has three children aged 6 years, 4 years, and 18 months, and the home is pet-free.

Requirements

Minimum one-year contract commitment.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle.
Minimum of 2 years paid childcare experience.
COVID/FLU vaccinated candidate.
Minimum of one year commitment to the position.

Responsibilities

Assist with children including meal prep, serving snacks and dinner, cleaning up after meals, play, and homework help.
Keep play areas organized.
Potentially handle school pick-up and transport children to and from activities.
Family meal prep.
Family laundry.
Run errands such as grocery shopping, purchasing house supplies, and picking up dry cleaning.
House organization.
Provide childcare assistance on weekends, typically when a parent is also home.
Assist with duties similar to weekdays as needed on weekends.
