About The Position

We are a warm, energetic family with two young children and two dogs, looking for someone to help us with household tasks and lighten the load. Both parents work full-time and are seeking a reliable, proactive individual to support with daily operations and care. We are a loving family, and we are eager to build a relationship with someone who can help us maintain balance in our busy lives. Requirements

Maintain a smoke-free environment.
Reliable transportation required. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Comfortable being around dogs (must be dog-friendly).
Vaccinations in accordance with CDC guidelines for being around children.
Peanut allergy awareness (must be able to avoid peanuts in food preparation and household areas).
Positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and ability to create systems to keep the home running smoothly.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
Personable, warm, and easy to communicate with.
Comfortable with light child supervision and backup childcare duties.
Able to work around dogs and take care of light pet-related tasks.
Reliable and responsible with transportation.
Flexible and adaptable, able to take on various tasks around the house as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide light supervision and backup childcare for the children when needed.
Create and maintain household organization systems.
Perform daily resets to keep the home tidy and prepped for cleaners.
Oversee seasonal home organization tasks, like swapping out décor and managing storage.
Prepare for family events and guest stays.
Handle donation drop-offs and pickups.
Light tidying including dishes, surfaces, and vacuuming high-traffic areas.
Assist with packing and unpacking for travel.
Tackle occasional deep cleans, such as the fridge or other high-use areas.
Refresh garage, mudroom, and entry areas.
Clean humidifiers, air purifiers, and other special cleaning tasks.
Manage organizational projects for toys, gear, and other household items.
Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies.
Manage grocery and household supply orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, HEB).
Handle returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, and mail/package handling.
Break down boxes for recycling or disposal.
Prepare 3 dinners per week, following family meal plans.
Chop vegetables, prep ingredients, and maintain kitchen cleanliness during meal prep.
Grocery shopping in accordance with family dietary preferences (peanut allergy awareness).
Assist with kitchen cleanup and maintenance.
Fold, organize, and rotate laundry (family handles washing).
Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area.
Walk the dogs (short daily walks).
Schedule and manage vet/grooming appointments.
Maintain pet supplies and monitor food levels for timely refills.
Schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance as needed.
Occasionally fuel and clean family vehicles.
Manage outdoor spaces and ensure they are maintained.
