About The Position

A busy family living on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time family assistant/house manager. This role involves managing calendars, appointments, inventory, errands, special projects, and overseeing two NY-area homes outside the city. The position is generally on-site, Monday through Friday, with occasional remote work on nights and weekends requested.

Requirements

  • Must be able to wear many hats and have a 'no task too big or too small' outlook.
  • Bookkeeping experience and ability to manage household finances.
  • High attention to detail.
  • At least 5 years of similar experience in the home of HNW families with kids and multiple homes.
  • Highly professional and respect boundaries.
  • Driver's license required for occasional travel to homes outside of New York City.

Nice To Haves

  • Longevity in prior roles preferred.
  • Ability to hit the ground running to help organize systems and run the household.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, appointments, inventory, errands, and special projects.
  • Oversee two NY-area homes outside the city.
  • Act as the point person in the home for the principals, their children, and other staff.
  • Manage household finances and bookkeeping.

Benefits

  • Compensation depends on experience and ranges from $100-$140k.
