Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role is responsible for the direction and administration of services to children who are seriously emotionally disturbed and their families. The Director collaborates with other programs and the CEO, assessing community needs; designs, supervises, and manages services; and develops and evaluates all components of the program. Other responsibilities include administrative and technical supervision of staff, budget preparation, department goals and objectives, relevant procedures development and decision-making, and implementation of CMHA-CEI’s policy and procedures. Participation in statewide committees and advocacy efforts may also be included. The Director is responsible for carrying out all activities of the office in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies, and procedures.
