About The Position

The Baldwin School, founded in 1888, is an all-girls college preparatory, independent day school (PreK-Grade 12) dedicated to a tradition of excellence in education. The school is seeking qualified coaches for the Middle School Field Hockey Coach and Middle School Field Hockey Assistant Coach positions for the 2026 season. The successful candidates will work under the direction of the Director of Athletics and should possess a genuine love and knowledge of their sport, with the ability to teach, mentor, and motivate student-athletes. Collaborative and creative leadership is essential. A Baldwin Coach is student-centered, embraces school life, maintains high standards, fosters a positive culture, and embodies the school's core values of Learning, Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, and Honesty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Competitive background and previous experience in coaching required
  • Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
