About The Position

Silver Lake Regional High School is in search of a Cheerleading Assistant Coach to help with training and management of the high school cheerleading program. This role involves teaching cheerleading skills to student-athletes in grades 9-12, acting as a role model, and managing various aspects of the program.

Requirements

• Experience coaching high school cheerleading
• Experience working with students

Nice To Haves

• Previous high school coaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach the skills and cheerleading to student-athletes in grades 9-12.
• Be a role-model and teacher of cheerleading, including practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
• Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs.
• Communicate regularly with families as needed.
