About The Position

Blue Owl Capital is seeking motivated and curious students majoring in accounting, finance, or business-related fields for our Fall 2026 Internship Program. We value candidates who demonstrate: (1) a genuine interest in learning about alternative asset management and financial markets; and (2) balance and adaptability through extracurricular involvement or work experience, alongside strong academic performance. We are seeking motivated interns to join us for a 6-10 week Fall 2026 internship program in our Alternative Credit Interval Fund, Investor Operations, Private Funds Accounting, SEC Reporting, Internal Audit, Valuations and Carried Interest Accounting departments. The role will be based in Short Hills, New Jersey.

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets, investments, and asset management.
  • Open to freshman, sophomore, and juniors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, and reconciliations.
  • Support financial analysis and reporting, including preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities under the guidance of finance team members.
  • Help streamline operational processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with teams in accounting, finance, and operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on relevant topics.
  • Make meaningful contributions for the team on special projects and tasks relevant to the business in which you will support.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support specific departments or projects.
