About The Position
The Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead / Senior Engineer is responsible for technical execution and team leadership and is accountable to the Chief Engineer and Program Manager. The IPT Lead is responsible for technical integration and testing of program functional requirements, managing performance of the technical team (cost and schedule), management and producing customer reviews and producing deliverables. Technical aspects of the program. This includes providing engineering oversight for infrastructure and application development products for successful and integration in an Agile and DevOps Environment. The IPT Lead / Senior Engineer will support establishment of processes and infrastructure enhancements needed to support updates to the customer utilizing Agile and Dev/Ops techniques. The IPT Lead / Senior Engineer will also support growth activities, to include development of proposal solutions and engagements with future customers.
Requirements
- Responsible to implement, manage, and maintain procedures to ensure all devices are configured in accordance with mission requirements and security policies
- Ensure updates of OS
- Monitor and report operational status
- Resolve issues when they occur
- Include working closely with vendors and service providers
- Support solution development and application, software architecture and cloud solutions
- Lead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during proposal, design and delivery phases of products in development and production phases
- Knowledge and experience in infrastructure design and engineering
- Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging network and infrastructure technologies
- Interface with functional departments to secure team staffing
- Work with suppliers
- Be able to articulate project requirements
- Understanding of the Systems Engineer lifecycle and change management process
- Provide technical leadership in architecture definition and trades, requirements analysis, CONOPs, algorithms, interface definition, hardware and software design, procurement, integration, validation and verification
- Experience leading multiple development teams to design and build software systems following the Agile methodology
- Experience leading diverse engineering teams including the technical team, Government, and other contractors
- Experience developing and delivering program presentations
- Experience leading development teams implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with DevSecOps and Agile processes to achieve high level of automation
- Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD
