CAE Instructor Pilots - All for the pursuit of aviation excellence. Key responsibilities include: Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations. Conduct professional, comprehensive pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development. Perform administrative duties such as completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications, and recommending remedial training when needed. Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications. After approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business need), qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman. Physical Requirements Constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Occasionally move into different positions, including confined spaces. Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods (standing or sitting). Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks. Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 lbs. Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.
