Failure Analysis Technician (1st Shift)
About The Position
Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Failure Analysis Technician with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. This role provides support to manufacturing and customer service teams by replicating and troubleshooting field failures. The technician will drive technical issues to closure by working with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and resolve issues. Responsibilities include performing PCBA-level troubleshooting and component-level FA to identify root causes of hardware failures, using diagnostic equipment, and troubleshooting power delivery issues, signal integrity problems, and component defects on hyperscale servers. The role also involves developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal teams to support overall company objectives.
Requirements
- One year of equivalent industry experience.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment
- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and process.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
Nice To Haves
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to manufacturing and customer service teams, replicating and troubleshooting field failures.
- Drive technical issues to closure by working with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and resolve issues.
- Perform PCBA-level troubleshooting and component-level FA to identify root causes of hardware failures.
- Use diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, X-ray, and others.
- Troubleshoot power delivery issues, signal integrity problems, and component defects on hyperscale servers.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams in support of overall company objectives.
