Quality Systems and FA Intern Job Summary: Support the quality engineering team in conducting failure investigations and implementing corrective actions for customer-related issues, while documenting and maintaining analysis data, and facilitating interactions regarding customer quality and reliability through comprehensive analysis FA (8D) reports. Aid in planning and processing customer returns, as well as scheduling and executing the analysis from beginning to end. Collaborate with the quality engineer, circuit design, process, and product/test engineers across the business unit to perform DC electrical testing, circuit analysis/troubleshooting, fault isolation, and micro-probing, among other tasks as needed. Create and document detailed step-by-step tests required for each product family. Partner with the quality engineer and Application team to test customer returns based on bench analysis. Assist the quality engineer in recognizing and initiating actions that will lead to the continuous enhancement of the Quality System, products, and processes.

Requirements

  • College student working toward a B.S or M.S. in EE, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, inspection, assembly, and test methods.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, fast learner and well-organized.
  • Highly responsible, a good team player with good presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with common office computer software programs such as MS-Office.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum or refugee status) due to ITAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing and analysis equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities
