New College Graduate Failure Analysis Engineer
About The Position
Renesas is seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning individual to join their Failure Analysis Team as an Associate Failure Analysis Engineer in their Palm Bay, Florida office. This role involves collaborating closely with experienced engineers and technicians on analyzing, root causing, and reporting on a variety of semiconductor products. The new team member will learn basic failure analysis flows and gain experience with various equipment, including optical and acoustic microscopes, 3D x-ray tomography, photon emission and thermal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and lab bench instrumentation. This equipment will be used to support both customers in the field and new product development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be an initiative-taking team player who is able to take direction, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively.
- US citizen or a green card is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electrical bench or instrument control work is ideal.
