This position is for a temporary part-time faculty member at the University of New Mexico-Gallup Branch, located in Gallup, NM. The role involves teaching face-to-face or online courses during the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters within the Liberal Arts & Education Division. Possible courses include FYEX 1010 Foundational Math, FYEX 1020 Math Learning Strategies, FYEX 1030 Critical Text Analysis, FYEX 1110 First-Year Seminar, and FYEX 1120 College Success. UNM-Gallup serves a diverse student population, offering Associate degrees, selected Bachelor’s degrees, Career Technical Education certificate programs, adult basic education (ABE/GED), workforce training, and personal enrichment courses, as well as serving multiple high school populations. Adjunct faculty are responsible for all aspects of their assigned classes, including content delivery, assignment development, grading, and assessment of student learning. Positions are contingent upon student enrollment levels, the current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements, and may be filled or eliminated each semester.
