The Department of Art at the University of Maine is seeking part-time, temporary faculty members to teach one or more courses in fall 2026 and/or spring 2027. Available courses include ART 240: Printmaking I, ART 340: Printmaking II, ART 440: Printmaking III, and potentially ART 100: Drawing I, ART 200: Drawing II, ART 110: 2D Design, ART 120: 3D Design, and topics courses in drawing, printmaking, digital art, and/or graphic design. Positions require teaching in person on campus. Rehire in subsequent semesters is possible based on course availability, schedule, funding, performance, and bargaining agreement terms.
