About The Position

The University of Maine at Fort Kent is seeking to hire Part-Time Nursing
Faculty (adjunct) members.

Specifically, we are seeking adjunct faculty who can teach in our RN to BSN,
graduate, and doctoral nursing programs. Adjunct faculty play an important role
in the education of nursing students. Adjunct faculty teach our students about
topics such as evidence-based practice, epidemiology, leadership, and advanced
role expectations.

Successful candidates will have professional experience in the subject to be
taught and have (or demonstrate) strong potential for teaching excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of MSN; DNP or PhD preferred
• Maine RN License

Responsibilities

• Providing ongoing, constructive, and timely feedback;
• Serving as professional role models;
• Sharing practice experience and knowledge with RN to BSN, nurse practitioner, and doctoral students;
• Incorporating evidence-based practice into all instruction.
