About The Position

This position is for a Faculty Specialist I, Lecturer, Tenure Track in the Special Education and Literacy Studies department. The role requires a Master's degree in special education or a closely related field with an emphasis on learning disabilities or mild/mild-moderate disabilities. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in teaching, intervention delivery, or direct service with students with or at risk for disabilities. Requirements

• Earned Master’s degree in special education or closely related field from an accredited institution with a clear emphasis in learning disabilities or mild/mild-moderate disabilities.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching, intervention delivery or direct service experience with students with or at risk for disabilities.
• Demonstrated success supporting the needs of students experiencing academic difficulty.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education and to meeting the needs of all preK-12 learners.
