About The Position
The Bursky School of Public Health is seeking excellent interdisciplinary scholars and scientists to join their faculty. The school aims to create distinction in educational programming and improve health both locally and globally. With infrastructure like the Public Health Action Labs, funded by a naming gift, the school has the capacity for policy development, economic analysis, communication, and implementation to translate ideas into action that benefits public health. An Office of Innovation supports faculty in enterprise development, building an innovation ecosystem, and providing data analysis to produce impactful science. The school is looking for scholars who are passionate about promoting longer, healthier lives, addressing the full spectrum of health determinants, building better health systems, adopting and evolving new technologies in public health, and recognizing the importance of effective health communication. Named professorships may be available for qualified candidates.
