The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University is seeking full-time faculty to teach baccalaureate level human anatomy series lecture and lab and microbiology didactic and lab for our pre-nursing and other students. These courses are prerequisites for entry into nursing or other healthcare-related majors. The position begins in the Fall semester of 2026 and is a full-time, 9-month appointment. This role requires face-to-face instruction, necessitating the hired individual to reside in the Atlanta, GA area by late August 2026. The School is dedicated to advancing its mission by educating visionary leaders and scholars, generating and applying knowledge, and transforming nursing, health, and healthcare systems globally. We are looking for health sciences educators with a graduate degree in biology or a related discipline from an accredited institution. A terminal degree (PhD, EdD) is preferred but not mandatory. To be appointed as ranked faculty (Assistant Clinical Professor or higher), individuals must possess a doctorate and have peer-reviewed publications. Those without doctorates will be hired as instructors. Priority will be given to candidates with teaching experience. Appointment and rank will be determined by academic credentials and experience.
