About The Position
The Department of Dermatology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston seeks to recruit a candidate for a full-time position in general medical dermatology. The successful candidate will join our Department of Dermatology and provide patient care and education within our residency training program. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in practicing dermatology, and training our students, residents, and fellows. The Department of Dermatology delivers exceptional, comprehensive dermatologic care across more than six clinical locations, including UT Physicians Bellaire Station and Harris Health clinics. Through strong interdisciplinary collaborations, including with UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, the department offers specialized expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, dermatopathology, and cosmetic dermatology.
Requirements
- MD, MD, PhD, or equivalent
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology
- Texas medical licensure
Nice To Haves
- Subspecialty focus is welcomed and might include inpatient consultative dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and skin of color.
