About The Position
A full-time faculty member is needed to teach online and face-to-face within the Diagnostic Medical Sonography - General concentration at Concordia University, St. Paul. This role will also assist with clinical coordination. The course areas will include Abdomen, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Vascular. Ongoing applications are accepted for review, and candidates will be contacted for an interview when an appropriate opening becomes available.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 2 or more years of professional experience
- Must be registered in Abdomen and Ob/Gyn
- Must be organized, able to meet deadlines, and have excellent interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree
- Vascular registration
- Teaching experience
- Experience with multiple teaching modalities including online delivery
Responsibilities
- Equipping students to meet student learning outcomes for the course
- Facilitating laboratory, classroom or online discussions
- Assessing student performance
- Preparing students to be successful leaders in diagnostic medical sonography
- Assisting with clinical coordination
